Azure AD Tenant Creation Control

In a bid to give administrators more control over their Azure AD tenants, Microsoft has introduced the Tenant Creation Lockdown capability. This feature allows admins to restrict tenant creation and decide whether they want their users to create more tenants or not, via the new Tenant Creator role. The Tenant Creator role gives users assigned to it the ability to create new tenants. This new change will enable greater security and control over Azure AD tenants, so if you're a tenant administrator, it's time to get up to speed on this new capability.
If you're a user who's used to creating new tenants from the Manage Tenant overview section, this change might impact you. However, it's an essential change to ensure greater security for Azure AD tenants, and for that, the Tenant Creation Lockdown capability is a welcome addition.
Keep an eye out for this new capability, which began rolling out in mid-November and should complete by mid-December. Once available, tenant administrators can choose to restrict non-admin users from creating more tenants, and only allow users with Tenant Creator or Global Administrator role to do so.
