Microsoft Teams: Updated Hyperlink Insertion
Microsoft Teams has made it easier to insert hyperlinks into chat messages with a new update. Now, you can simply select the text you want to hyperlink, paste in the URL, and the hyperlink will be created automatically without requiring the traditional hyperlink dialogue box. This update saves time and streamlines the process of adding hyperlinks to messages within the platform.
This updated feature is currently in the Targeted Release phase and the rollout is set to begin in December 2024. This release will be available on both desktop and cloud instances worldwide with standard multi-tenant access. For more information, check out the Microsoft Teams Roadmap ID 420942.
