Microsoft Teams: Automatic lowering of a user’s Raised Hand after speaking

Microsoft Teams: Automatic lowering of a user’s Raised Hand after speaking

Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature to reduce the number of stale raised hands in meetings. Users will now be suggested to lower their raised hand after speaking, and they can choose to keep it raised if they wish. However, if they don't take any action on the notification, the system will automatically lower their hand. This new feature will facilitate smoother meeting facilitation for organizers and presenters, allowing for more efficient and effective meetings. The feature will be generally available from March 2023 on the Mac and cloud platforms, including worldwide (standard multi-tenant), DoD, GCC, and GCC High instances.
