Microsoft 365 admins will soon have access to a new feature allowing them to exercise more precise control over the availability of add-ins from the Office Store. With three separate options—Non-Adult Student, Adult Student, and Faculty and Staff—available under the Microsoft Admin Center, admins can now tailor add-in availability based on a user's role and age group properties. This feature is aimed specifically at education tenants, providing a more granular level of control and customization to better serve students, faculty, and staff. This update will roll out to Worldwide Standard Multi-Tenant instances in February CY2024.
For admins looking to streamline add-in management and improve user experience, this offering provides a valuable tool to better serve education users.
