Purview compliance portal: Advanced trainable classifiers to detect workplace safety scenarios

The Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance has introduced new advanced trainable classifiers in over 100 languages that can detect potential workplace safety violations, such as hateful or violent content, and assign severity scores to unsafe text. These classifiers use large language models for more accurate detection and are designed with privacy by default. The rollout for this update began in late August 2024 and is expected to be completed by early September 2024, and no admin action is required. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance offers tools to help organizations detect business conduct and regulatory compliance violations and the new classifiers are configured by default in the 'Detect Inappropriate Content' template policy. Users can access the Communication Compliance solution in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
