URLs for deployment configurations will be retired

Microsoft has announced that direct URL access to deployment configurations in the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center will be retired as of late September to early October 2024. Organizations that use this service must download configurations to use with the Office Deployment Tool. If you're currently using the deployment configuration service from the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center (config.office.com) to create deployment configurations for Microsoft 365 apps, you need to be aware of these changes.

With this change, administrators will no longer be able to use direct URLs to access their deployment configurations. However, they can still create, edit, and download configurations. To prepare for this transition, admins using direct URLs with the Office Deployment Tool will need to download their deployment configurations and use them with the Office Deployment Tool (ODT).
