Microsoft Copilot Studio – Analyze knowledge source usage for custom agents
We are announcing the Analyze knowledge source usage for custom agents feature for Microsoft Copilot Studio. This feature introduces a chart and metrics that track how often your knowledge sources are used in conversations between your agent and users. This feature will reach general availability on May 5, 2025. How does this affect me? This feature introduces analytics for knowledge source usage in Copilot Studio, allowing you to track the performance of your individual knowledge sources. You can view detailed metrics for the following: Total source use – This metric shows the frequency of use for each knowledge source, allowing you to understand which sources are most popular or effective. Error rate – This metric tracks the number of errors encountered, allowing you to identify and address any issues with the knowledge sources. Total answer rate – This metric indicates the percentage of queries that were successfully answered using knowledge sources, providing insights into their accuracy and reliability.
