Microsoft Copilot Studio – Enable agents with new real time knowledge sources
We are announcing the Enable agents with new real time knowledge sources feature for Microsoft Copilot Studio. This feature enables you to build agents that use non-Microsoft data from external systems as knowledge for more relevant and accurate grounded responses on real-time data with no data movements. This feature will reach general availability on May 15, 2025. How does this affect me? You can now add structured and unstructured data from Microsoft and non-Microsoft systems as grounding data for your agents built using Microsoft Copilot Studio. These agents allow users to ask questions in natural language about the enterprise systems being used within their Power Platform tenants. Microsoft will build on the natural language query approach released with Microsoft Dataverse knowledge and extend the same to select non-Microsoft services. Microsoft Services: AzureSQL – Structured Non-Microsoft Services: Salesforce – Structured and Unstructured ServiceNow – Structured and Unstructured Zendesk – Structured and Unstructured What do I need to do to prepare? If you would like more information about this feature please visit Add enterprise data as a knowledge source. Message ID: MC1066898
