Stories available for public preview in Yammer and Microsoft Viva Engage beginning early November

In early November, Yammer Network and Verified Admins will have the option to opt into the public preview of stories for Microsoft Viva Engage and Yammer. This can be done through a toggle control in Yammer. Stories allow users to share short videos or photos and help catch up and stay connected with colleagues and other people across the organization. Yammer users will be able to access the stories experience on their Yammer/Viva Engage profile pages, the profile pages of other users, and home feed. Notifications for stories can be customized based on personal preference, with options to notify users in Teams or Outlook or not at all. Users will also see stories on the "Storylines" page that displays posts and stories for people they follow, along with other relevant and trending content from across their organization. Encouraging users to follow thought leaders and organizational accounts can help increase the reach of stories. Additionally, Storyline must be enabled before enabling Stories. This public preview is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 101514.

Overall, this feature is meant to offer users a familiar, fun, and engaging way to connect and collaborate with others in their organization.
