Microsoft Teams: Customize who receives shift request notifications
Microsoft Teams has improved its notification system for shift request alerts to ensure that only schedule group owners receive notifications rather than all owners of a team. This approach helps streamline workflow and reduce unnecessary notifications, allowing team owners to maintain focus. The update is now available on both desktop and cloud platforms in the worldwide standard multi-tenant instance and was released in January CY2025.
