Microsoft Teams: Turn On/Off notifications for a post
Microsoft Teams users can now choose whether or not to receive notifications for a post in a channel. This new feature gives users the option to opt-in or opt-out of notifications, providing them with more control over their notification settings. The feature was released on the targeted release phase in July CY2024 and is available on both desktop and cloud platforms. This is a welcome development for Microsoft Teams users, as it allows them to manage their notification preferences more efficiently and avoid unnecessary distractions while staying informed.
