Microsoft Teams: Shifts: Notifications improvements
Microsoft Teams is introducing several improvements to notifications for open and assigned shifts that will enhance the user experience. The most notable element of the update includes notifications being sent to team members who are impacted only. This, in turn, minimizes unnecessary notifications to other team members. Additionally, schedule owners will now have more control over who receives the notifications, and the end-users will have access to improved information such as location and department information. Lastly, notifications will now be consistent across all platforms, including desktop, web, iOS, and Android. These changes will be available on multiple cloud instances, including GCC, GCC High, DoD, and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
If you manage teams and rely on Microsoft Teams' Shifts service, these improvements will undoubtedly streamline daily operations, saving you time and ensuring that team members are well-informed about the shifts they are assigned to.
