New Microsoft Outlook: New Search filters
The new Microsoft Outlook update is set to introduce search filters, such as All, Mail, Files, Teams, and People. Users will soon be able to filter search results by these categories, with the Teams filter showing relevant chat messages and the People results displaying a person's full People card upon selection.
The rollout for Targeted Release will begin in mid-July 2024 and for General Availability, mid-August 2024, with no admin action required for this automatic update. The feature will be on by default and available for use by all new Outlook for Desktop and web customers.
