Microsoft 365 admin center: Microsoft 365 Copilot license optimizer
Microsoft has introduced a new feature in the Microsoft 365 admin center called Microsoft 365 Copilot license optimizer, aimed at simplifying the license assignment process and optimizing utilization. This feature uses data-driven tactics to identify users who are in the best position to benefit the most from Microsoft 365 Copilot and effectively assign licenses to those users. By using this optimizer, organizations can save time and resources, ultimately maximizing the value gained from Microsoft 365 Copilot. The feature is now generally available and can be accessed via the web-based Microsoft 365 admin center platform. The rollout began in October CY2024, and it's available worldwide on the standard multi-tenant cloud instance. To learn more about the feature, you can check out the Microsoft roadmap ID 417484 on the Microsoft roadmap.
