Send to Kindle feature shipping

Send to Kindle feature shipping

The Send to Kindle feature is set to roll out soon, giving Microsoft Word (Win32, Web, Mac) users the ability to send documents to Kindle e-reader devices or the Kindle app. This feature will be available to all users and will be turned on by default. However, if a user does not want their organization to have access to this feature, they can disable it in the cloud policy settings. This feature will be available after mid-March and is expected to complete by mid-April. To prepare for this feature, organizations should review the information provided and set the appropriate settings for their policies.

For more details, refer to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 117542 and the Send to Kindle policy link provided. Once the policy is set, it will automatically be in place when the feature ships. The MC519245 Message ID can be used as a reference for this announcement.
