Windows Server 2012 R2 has reached end of support
As of today, October 10, 2023, Windows Server 2012 R2 has reached the end of its support. This means that the October 2023 security update is the last update available for this version, and devices running this version of Windows Server will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that safeguard against the latest security threats. We recommend updating devices to Windows Server 2022, which you can learn more about in the Overview of Windows Server upgrades. However, for those who still wish to receive security updates, Extended Security Updates (ESUs) are available for purchase, with the final date of extension being October 13, 2026.
