Enable App Volume Replication for Horizon VDI with AVS
Enable App Volume Replication for Horizon VDI on Azure VMware Solution using Azure NetApp Files
VMware suggests utilizing a multi-instance model with distinct instances for each site to extend their Horizon infrastructure to the Cloud. This multi-site Horizon implementation enables each instance to operate independently, with its unique database instance and set of App Volumes Managers. Implementing separate instances for each site is straightforward and enables effortless scaling. Additionally, it provides resilience, allowing uninterrupted access to Packages and AppStacks in the event of an outage, as the remaining instance in the operational sites can provide access with no requirement for intervention. Learn how to use Azure NetApp Files to provide a datastore that is mounted to AVS Private Cloud cluster in order to enable App Volume Replication using Storage Groups.
That is all for this month. Please continue sending us your feedback on features you would like to see in Azure VMware Solution. We hope that you enjoy the update!
