Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention – Just-in-time support on MacOS
Microsoft Purview compliance portal offers a new Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) feature to provide just-in-time support on macOS for egress activities on monitored files while waiting for policy evaluation to complete. With the just-in-time (JIT) protection feature enabled, Endpoint DLP blocks outbound activity for all user accounts that belong to the selected scope until policy evaluation is successfully completed. Endpoint DLP also audits egress activities for all user accounts that have been excluded via the exclude setting or are out of scope. This feature is set to become generally available in December CY2024 in the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) Cloud Instance. You can learn more about this feature by following the link provided.
