Microsoft Teams: New Files App in Teams
Microsoft Teams has launched a new files app that organizes all your content in one place. This includes content across chats, channels, meetings, and the Microsoft 365 suite. With the new app, users can easily manage, locate, and organize their files. In addition, the app offers a more consistent and familiar user experience, which simplifies users' navigation throughout the application.
The new Files app is available on the desktop version and Cloud Instance of Microsoft Teams. The release phase is set for General Availability, starting January of CY2023. It will be accessible on all platforms, including GCC High, DoD, GCC, and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
Overall, Microsoft Teams' new Files app aims to offer an intuitive and efficient way to manage files, enhance user experience, and streamline workflows.
