Microsoft Teams: New Files app in Teams
The new files app experience in Teams allows you to securely store, organize and collaborate on files from anywhere and across all devices. It brings a modern approach to all of your content including chats, channels and OneDrive or SharePoint locations. This update will be rolled out for preview by late March and for standard release by mid-April. Users can easily discover and locate relevant files within the Teams app, without switching between various apps and share them with ease. The updated menu bar makes navigation easier with options such as Home, My Files, Shared, Downloads and Quick Access. The existing Files app will be automatically updated with the new files app experience. So, businesses can benefit from this update by enhancing their collaboration and productivity efforts with files in Teams.
