Removal of Microsoft Store for Business tab from Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 and 11 PCs
Microsoft has announced the removal of the Microsoft Store for Business tab from the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 and 11 PCs, effective from mid-May onwards. This change is expected to impact Line of Business products listed in the Microsoft Store for Business tab, which users will no longer be able to view. The retirement of Microsoft Store for Business and Education on Windows 11 was previously announced in 2021. Microsoft recommends users add their apps via the new Microsoft Store app experience and retrieve an app package from the vendor if necessary. The Microsoft Store for Business tab will remain available on HoloLens devices. Stay tuned to the Intune Customer Success blog for more information as it becomes available.
