Microsoft Search: People centric search in SharePoint and Office.com to GCC and GCC-H environments

Microsoft Search now offers people-centric search in SharePoint and office.com to GCC and GCC-H environments. This search pattern allows you to zoom in on a person, view, explore and search the enterprise graph around them. The purpose of this feature is twofold: first, it enables you to find content through people, and second, to understand people through their content. When you select a person, you can search through their work; however, you will only be able to access the items you have permission to view or modify.

This feature was released in March 2023, and it is available on the web cloud instance. By providing people-centric search, Microsoft Search empowers users to interact with information much more efficiently and comprehensively. This feature is part of the ongoing efforts to make Microsoft services more accessible and user-friendly.

You can explore and learn more about this feature and its capabilities on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, including details on how to implement it into your work environment.
