Introducing Schedule Send on Outlook for Android
Outlook for Android has unveiled an exciting new feature called Schedule Send. This feature allows users to compose an email now and schedule the delivery for later. To select the sending time, users can click on the ellipsis (…) button while composing the email. This feature is an essential add-on for professionals who wish to compose emails at their convenience and send them at the most appropriate time for maximum impact.
The Schedule Send feature is already available on Outlook for iOS and will be rolling out for Android users in the upcoming months, starting from early July 2023, and is expected to be complete by early August 2023. Upon scheduling the delivery, the email will be saved in the Drafts folder until it is sent at the pre-selected time. This feature is expected to be available to all users affiliated with Microsoft 365.
So if you're an Android user with Outlook, keep an eye out for the release of this feature as it is sure to make your life a lot easier and your email communication more effective. This announcement was made by Microsoft on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 98927.
