Microsoft Purview | Insider Risk Management: Enhanced alert and user investigation with Microsoft Copilot for Security

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management has now been boosted with the feature of Microsoft Copilot for Security, which enables you to investigate alerts and gain insights into user activity in a much more detailed manner. This feature requires users to have Copilot for Security licenses and appropriate permissions. With this tool, you can quickly access alert summaries and individual user activities to determine whether further investigation is necessary or if the alert can be dismissed. By clicking once, you can gain access to the user's risk profile, highlighting their key risk factors and details. The Copilot for Security streamlines investigations by swiftly generating summaries, significantly reducing the workload, and allowing for quicker decisions. This feature is slated to start as a Public Preview from early August 2024 and widely available from mid-November 2024. To prepare for this, you must configure a Copilot for Security license and provide the right authorizations for its use.
