Microsoft Outlook: Themes by Copilot will be available starting November 2024

Starting November 2024, Microsoft Outlook will introduce a new feature called "Themes by Copilot." With a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, users can create and apply themes inspired by global places of interest or their current surroundings across various Outlook platforms, including Outlook for Mac desktops, Outlook for iOS/Android, Outlook on the web, and the new Outlook for Windows desktops. The rollout will be automatic and require no admin action. Users can choose a style and set a theme refresh cadence, and if location permissions are enabled, create a theme inspired by their current weather or surroundings.

The feature will be available only with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and rollout will begin early November 2024 and complete by late December 2024. Users can enable the feature on their own, and there is no need for any admin action. Organizations should review their current configurations to determine the impact of this change and consider updating documentation as necessary.
