Microsoft Edge: Elevating top settings and improving settings page navigability
Microsoft Edge is introducing three navigation improvements to Edge Settings to make finding browser settings more efficient. These changes will not affect the functionality of any setting, and all settings will remain on the same page as they are today but will be behind clickable sections. The first improvement introduces quick access to the most frequently used actions on the landing page of Edge Settings. The second adds quick access to the most frequently used actions to each densely populated page, including Privacy, Search, and Services; Appearance; Cookies and Site Permissions; and System and Performance. The third change allows each section of these pages to click-through to their respective sub-settings, similar to a table of contents. These improvements aim to elevate top settings and improve settings page navigability. This update will be available on desktop platforms starting from October CY2024 and is applicable worldwide on Standard Multi-Tenant Cloud Instances.
