(Reminder) Microsoft 365 admin center: Admins can no longer receive user passwords in email as of August 30, 2024

(Reminder) Microsoft 365 admin center: Admins can no longer receive user passwords in email as of August 30, 2024

Microsoft 365 admin center announced a reminder that starting from August 30, 2024, the feature to send user passwords in email will be retired. Instead, admins should use the "Print" option to securely share user account details. This update is a follow-up to an earlier announcement and does not require any immediate action from admins. The original message was accidentally removed, and this reminder is being provided to ensure admins are informed. Hence, after August 30, 2024, admins can no longer receive usernames and passwords in email. The change will be automatic, and no admin action is required. This change is intended to enhance security. Learn more about resetting passwords in Microsoft 365 admin through the provided link.
