Create themes for SharePoint and Viva Connections in brand center
The SharePoint Brand center is getting a major upgrade with the addition of a new theme creation experience. This feature allows organizations to create and manage themes for their SharePoint and Viva Connections sites, providing a standard set of colors and themes for enhanced customization. The update is set to roll out by mid-October 2024, following a targeted release in early September 2024. This new brand color management experience will enable users to easily create and standardize their color options, while previously created themes through PowerShell will remain outside this management experience.
To use this new feature, organizations must have previously enabled the SharePoint Brand center. Once enabled, users can easily create and manage their organization's themes in the Brand center for their SharePoint and Microsoft Viva Connections sites, making them available in the "Change the look" experience. This update aims to streamline the color customization process and enhance the overall user experience for organizations using SharePoint and Viva Connections.
