Microsoft Teams now supports Human Interface Devices (HID) in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) for VMware. This feature allows users to utilize their HID devices when using Microsoft Teams on a VDI in VMware. The release date for this feature was in September of 2022 and is available on Mac Cloud Instances GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and DoD. This update is part of Microsoft's ongoing efforts to streamline its collaboration platform and provide greater usability to its users.
