Microsoft Teams: EDU tenant type selection in policy wizard
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that allows admins to choose the tenant type for their institution from the policy wizard. This change can be made easily from the wizard itself and anytime as per requirements. The feature is available as part of the worldwide release of Microsoft Teams and can be accessed through the cloud platform on the web. The feature was introduced on August CY2024 and has a roadmap ID of 402185.
To take advantage of this new feature and customize the tenant type as per your institution's needs, go to the policy wizard in Microsoft Teams and make the necessary changes. The feature promises to make managing Teams for educational institutions more effective and efficient.
