Now in public preview: Avatars for Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is introducing a new feature called Avatars that offers users customizable avatars and reactions, allowing them to represent themselves the way they want without having to switch on their camera during video meetings. The app also allows users to save up to three avatars for different purposes, such as casual, professional, and day-to-day meetings. The app is designed for users of 18+. Microsoft plans to roll out the app in late March (targeted release) and by early-April for all users. The app can be accessed through the Teams App store or from the pre-join screen by clicking on ‘Create your avatar’.
