Microsoft Intune: Enrollment time grouping for iOS/iPadOS automated device enrollment

Microsoft Intune is introducing Enrollment Time Grouping (ETG) for iOS/iPadOS Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) with the aim of improving the rollout process of apps and policies to devices, thus reducing latency during setup. Only new iOS/iPadOS enrollment policies will contain ETG, but administrators can add a static Entra ID group to the enrollment policy to ensure that devices are part of that group upon enrollment, speeding up the process of deploying targeted policies and apps. The feature is set to become available in October CY2024 and will be accessible on the iOS platform through Microsoft Intune's GCC High, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, and GCC Cloud Instances.
