OneDrive: Recommended Files

OneDrive: Recommended Files

Microsoft is rolling out a new feature in OneDrive Home that uses machine learning to predict the files you’re most likely to want to work on next and presents them as a set of recommended files. The feature will begin rolling out in late July for Targeted Release and early August for Standard Release, expected to be completed by the end of August. The recommended files are personalized and only files that you have access to in OneDrive or SharePoint are suggested. Each card shows the name of the file, who made changes or shared it, and why it was recommended, such as @ mentions, recent edits, or comments. Clicking anywhere on the card opens the file, while selecting “Hide from list” in the context menu removes the file from the recommended list. However, the file can still appear for others with whom the file has been shared.

It is recommended to update your training and documentation as appropriate to prepare for this rollout.
