Microsoft Teams: Limit Presenter Role Permissions

Microsoft Teams: Limit Presenter Role Permissions

Microsoft Teams is introducing a new feature to limit the permissions of presenters in meetings. Admins can apply a tenant configuration that restricts presenters from controlling attendee microphones and cameras, changing the roles of other participants, lowering participant hands, and removing attendees from the meeting. This update gives meeting organizers more control, flexibility and structure to manage their meetings. This feature is available on the desktop and cloud instances of Microsoft Teams on a worldwide scale (for Standard Multi-Tenant, DoD, and GCC High). The release date for this feature is expected to be in March 2024, and the roadmap ID is 319398.

So, if you're a Microsoft Teams admin looking for more control over your meetings, this feature is definitely something to look out for in the near future.
