The Microsoft 365 Backup Storage API has been introduced to facilitate the development of custom applications integrated with the Microsoft 365 Backup Storage platform. This newly launched feature helps businesses swiftly recover from potential disasters, such as ransomware attacks, accidental/malicious deletion, or overwriting of content by employees. The Preview release date for the worldwide cloud instance (Standard Multi-Tenant) is May CY2024, with the official release anticipated for July CY2024. The feature ID for this roadmap is 399552. By harnessing the Microsoft 365 Backup Storage API, organizations can design solutions tailored to their specific requirements, providing enhanced resilience in the face of adversity.
