Azure Government Secret expands DoD IL6 services, receives highest level information categorization

Azure Government Secret has earned the highest level information categorization and a Provisional Authorization (PA) at Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 6 (IL6), further expanding its offerings to the DoD. According to a previous blog post, the Azure Government Secret platform was already authorized to operate with facilities accredited at ICD 705, and attained Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Authorization to Operate (ATO). This certification allows the government to take advantage of Azure's secure cloud computing technology effectively. This achievement will strengthen security and ensure a safer cloud environment for the US Government.
