SharePoint: Export Microsoft Lists as a dataset for Power BI Data Hub

SharePoint: Export Microsoft Lists as a dataset for Power BI Data Hub

SharePoint is making it easier for users to export Microsoft lists to Power BI Data Hub as datasets for creating custom reports. With this new feature, users can take advantage of the rich data visualization capabilities of Power BI Data Hub to generate insightful, personalized reports based on the information stored in the lists. This is a significant improvement on the existing feature, which allowed for list data to be visualized only within the list itself. The new capability is expected to be generally available from February CY2023 and can be used on various platforms including Web Cloud Instance Worldwide, GCC High, DoD, and GCC.

By exporting the Microsoft lists to Power BI Data Hub, users can perform in-depth analysis and highlight critical insights to drive business decisions. This new feature will be an excellent addition to the already existing features of Power BI, providing users with a more streamlined reporting experience.
