New admin controls for Global and Viva Goals Administrators
Global and Viva Goals Administrators can now look forward to a new admin page that simplifies the management of Viva Goals policy settings for their tenant. In particular, they can manage and view all organizations on Viva Goals while updating organization owners and admin privileges. Previously, administrators could enable integrations, configure URLs, and oversee organization creation within Viva Goals. However, with the new admin controls set to roll out in late March 2023, they'll enjoy a refined admin portal that streamlines the updating and administrating of Viva Goals organizations.
It's recommended that companies learn more about the roles and permissions surrounding Viva Goals, including assigning Viva Goals Administrator(s) if Global administrators are unavailable to manage the Viva Goals policy settings for the company. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 117475.
Overall, this new feature promises to simplify the task of administering Viva Goals and make it easier for Global and Viva Goals Administrators to manage and organize their tenants. The rollout period is expected to run from late March 2023 to early April 2023.
