Open Teams app content in multi-window stageview
Microsoft Teams has released a new feature called Collaborative Stageview that allows users to open app content in new multi-window experiences. This new feature can be accessed from Teams JS SDK, an adaptive card or deeplink. It will enable users to engage with content and conversation side-by-side improving multitasking workflows. The Collaborative Stageview will roll out in mid-March 2024 for Targeted Release and early-April 2024 for Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, and DoD. Existing Stageview deeplinks and Stageview.open API calls can be opened in Teams multi-window through Collaborative Stageview. Updating training and documentation is suggested as preparation. Take advantage of this new feature to elevate user experience and add more value to the productivity suite of Microsoft 365.
