Introducing custom fonts for Viva Connections Desktop

In a bid to help users optimize branding in their Viva Connections Desktop, Microsoft Viva has introduced custom fonts via the SharePoint Brand Center, which is now available in Preview and will soon be in GA. After custom fonts have been enabled by the admin, brand managers can then upload and manage brand assets. The rollout began in early April 2024 and is expected to continue through mid-October 2024. Users will have access to eight default font packages, and custom fonts will be the default option, allowing them to be supported in various text elements. There will be no admin action required before rollout. The feature will help organizations to express their brand and creative expression in their Viva Connections Desktop experiences. Customized font packages can be created and managed by brand managers after uploading them to the brand fonts library of the SharePoint brand center. This Microsoft 365 feature will affect users in early September 2024 and is expected to end by mid-October 2024.
