Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Lifecycle Management – Cloud attachments support file versions shared as links

Microsoft has announced that their Purview compliance portal now supports cloud attachments, including attachments shared as hyperlinks in the body of email or Teams messages. This feature was previously limited to links shared using the attachments button in Outlook and Teams.

This update is a part of the Data Lifecycle Management feature and is scheduled to be available in March 2023. The preview for this update is set to launch in January 2023. This feature will be available in the worldwide standard multi-tenant cloud instance platform.

With this new addition, Microsoft is making it easier for users to manage cloud attachments and file versions while maintaining compliance and security. The Purview compliance portal further enhances data management and security within the various Microsoft services.
