Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal: Blanket Retention Policy for Audits
Microsoft Purview is introducing a new enhancement to the Audit custom retention policy feature. Customers will now have the ability to create blanket custom retention policies that will apply to all Audit recordTypes. This feature adds to the existing capability of manually selecting specific recordTypes in custom policies. This change will arrive during the Preview Release phase in June CY2024 and will be available on the Web Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). The roadmap ID for this feature is 395215 and it can be found on the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
