New Microsoft Outlook for Windows and web: Improvements to working hours and location

Microsoft Outlook for Windows and web is set to release new flexible working hours in 2023, providing users with the ability to set different work hours and locations according to individual workdays. Users can update their daily work location in the calendar and view their coworkers’ work schedule in the scheduling assistant. Two notable updates will follow soon; an updated daily location menu to help users plan their day and see who else is in the office and an integration of work location with Out of Office time. The rollout will begin in late March 2024, concluding by late August 2024. No admin action is necessary, though users may want to update relevant documentation.
