Custom Download Location for Files in Teams
A new feature will soon be released in Microsoft Teams that will allow users to choose custom download locations for files downloaded from Teams. The feature is expected to roll out from early September until late October and will be accompanied by a new setting in Files settings that lets users change the default download location to their preferred one. There is also a new toggle that, when enabled, will prompt the user to select a location for each download. These settings will only apply to files downloaded after the feature is enabled and will not affect any previously downloaded files. No action is required to prepare for this change, but users may need to be notified about the new feature and related updates to appropriate training and documentation.
