OneDrive: Navigation updates in OneDrive for Web
OneDrive for Web is set to receive some much-needed updates aimed at improving the user experience. Soon, users will be able to expand or collapse the left navigation bar, to optimize the use of screen real estate according to their needs. Additionally, OneDrive is introducing a new button labeled “+ Add new” to enable users to create new content and upload files/folders with ease. This button will be available across the Home, My Files, Shared, Favorites, Recycle bin, and all Shared libraries in the Quick Access section.
It is important to note that the upload functionality will now be accessed through the new “+ Add new” option. These updates are scheduled to roll out in July CY2023, and will be available on the web platform for OneDrive across multiple instances including DoD, GCC, GCC High, and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
To sum it up, OneDrive for Web is getting an update that streamlines user navigation and simplifies the process of content creation and upload, making it an even more user-friendly platform.
