InfoPath 2013 client and InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint Online will reach end of support in July 2026

Microsoft has announced that InfoPath 2013 client and InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint Online will be retired from support in July 2026. In view of industry trends and feedback from customers and partners, Microsoft is looking to provide an intelligent, integrated forms experience that works across devices, which InfoPath doesn't provide. After July 14, 2026, users will no longer be able to use InfoPath forms in SharePoint Online. To minimize the impact on your organization, Microsoft recommends reviewing and assessing the impact of this change, running the Microsoft 365 Assessment tool to scan the tenant for InfoPath usage, and identifying all InfoPath Forms usage in the tenant. The impacted site owners/teams inside an organization should be communicated to, so they are aware of the coming change. For scenarios where InfoPath or InfoPath Forms services are currently used, Microsoft recommends migrating to Power Apps, Power Automate or Forms. However, Microsoft does not provide any migration tool, so it is vital to allow adequate time for migration of any use of InfoPath/InfoPath Forms Services in your organization ahead of this date.
