Microsoft Teams: Performance improvements for meetings in Chrome web browser for guests
Microsoft Teams is set to improve the experience of anonymous users (guests) who use the Chrome web browser to join meetings. The performance improvements will start rolling out in early November 2024 and are expected to be completed globally by late January 2025. This update, detailed on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 401116, will allow for faster meeting joins, benefitting those on low-end devices in particular. The update will not affect the appearance of Teams, so updating internal documentation for users is optional. Organizations may update their documentation as needed to keep their users informed. This message is identified with the message ID MC894581. For more information, check out the M365 Admin website.
