Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention for endpoints – Ability to fetch the original file resulting in a DLP policy match as evidence (Microsoft managed storage)

Microsoft Purview compliance portal now offers a new data loss prevention (DLP) feature for endpoints that allows admins to retrieve the original file that resulted in a DLP policy match. This feature enables admins to analyze the content to confirm the full set of data that was exfiltrated to assess the severity of the situation. With Microsoft managed storage, admins can easily configure this feature in the endpoint DLP settings without the need to configure any additional settings, such as assigning permissions or selecting storage in policy workflow. This feature is set to be available for preview in November 2023 and on release in February 2024.
