Python in Excel will be generally available starting August 2024

Python formulas will now be available in Microsoft Excel for Windows users starting August 2024. This feature was previously exclusive to Microsoft 365 Insiders. The rollout will be finished by October 2024. This tool will include standard compute and a premium compute self-purchase option. Admins can manage add-on licenses. This feature was first released for Microsoft 365 Insiders in August 2023. However, with this release, it will be generally available for all eligible users in the organization. It will improve the representation and analysis of data by providing users with the tools required for better and faster data analysis. The feature will only be available for Excel for Windows users and requires access to connected experiences in Office.

Overall, this update will assist users in importing and handling data with ease and improve their data analysis skills.
