Improvements to @mentioning behavior on Viva Engage
Viva Engage is set to introduce an improved @mentioning behavior on their platform. This feature will allow users to @mention someone using their first name/last name. The change will be available on both web and mobile platforms, and admins will have the option to turn off this feature through their admin portal.
This new feature will begin rolling out in mid-April 2023 and will be completed by late April. This is a long-awaited improvement that users have been requesting. Admins do not need to do much to prepare, but raising awareness among current users may be helpful.
